Animal Communication · Newcastle & the North East
Two hundred miles is no distance at all.
Hello, I’m Dawn. I’m an Animal Empath in Shrewsbury, and the North East is one of the furthest places from me on the English map. It makes no difference. A communication happens from a photograph, over Zoom or telephone, so you don’t need to travel. I share the impressions I receive as an intuitive practice, without promising an outcome.

Horses especially
A good deal of my work is with horses.
Dogs are my daily company, but I’ve worked with horses for a long time, and some of the questions I’m asked most come from yards: a horse who has started refusing, a horse who seems shut down, a horse whose guardian is wondering whether it’s time to retire them. Horses carry a great deal quietly. A communication lets them say it.
For a horse I need the same thing as for a dog: a photograph with their face clear, and your two questions. I don’t need to visit the yard, and I don’t need the horse to be doing anything in particular. If there’s a physical issue, your vet and your farrier come first; what I can add is how your horse feels about it all.
Any companion
Dogs, cats, horses, birds, rabbits, and the ones that don’t fit a list.
I’m asked whether I work with a particular species more often than you’d think. The answer is almost always yes. The relationship is what I’m listening to, and every animal that shares a life with a person has one.

The session
An hour by Zoom or telephone, wherever you are.
You send me a clear photograph and the two things you most want to ask. I spend time with the photograph before we speak.
We meet by Zoom or telephone. I tell you what I’m receiving, we ask your questions, and we talk it through. Your animal doesn’t need to be with you.
You keep a recording of the whole session to listen back to.
Fee
No travel, no distance charge.
The fee is the same whether you’re in Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham or the Scottish Borders.
Questions
From guardians in the North East.
Can you really communicate with a horse you’ve never met, from a photo?
That’s how I work with every animal, whatever the species and wherever they are. The photograph is the connection.
My horse is at livery and I don’t see him every day. Does that matter?
No. You don’t need to be with your horse during the session, and he doesn’t need to be doing anything. Just be somewhere you can talk.
Can you tell me if my horse is in pain?
I cannot establish whether your horse is in pain or diagnose a medical condition. If you suspect pain, please contact your vet. A communication must never delay veterinary care.
Do you work with farm animals?
Yes, if they’re an animal you have a relationship with. Get in touch and tell me about them.

About Dawn
Briefly, about me.
I’ve worked professionally with animals and their guardians since 2006, as an Animal Empath and Animal Communicator and, separately, as a qualified Pet Bereavement Counsellor. Home is Shrewsbury, shared with Millie, my Jack Russell, and with Mylo in spirit.
When an animal has died
I communicate with animals in spirit in exactly the same way.
If what you need is support for yourself after a loss, my Pet Bereavement Counselling is separate, by Zoom or telephone, and begins with a free twenty-minute call.
Get in touch
Tell me about your animal.
Species, name, and what’s on your mind. I’ll explain how a session would work and when I could fit you in.
