What is animal communication?
A quiet space where your animal can be heard.
Becoming still is where it starts.

A little more about how I may be able to help.
Animal Communication with Dawn Stone
I believe our animals are communicating with us all the time.
Not necessarily through words, but through feelings, images, thoughts and those little impressions that sometimes tell us so much. Every animal is different, and every communication is different too. My sessions are by Zoom or telephone, so wherever you are in the UK, you’re very welcome to get in touch.

What is animal communication?
Becoming still is where it starts.
When I communicate with an animal, I create a quiet space and become still. I’m not asking for anything in particular; I’m simply open to whatever they may wish to share. It can come through as a feeling, an image, a thought, a sensation in my own body, or a subtle impression that’s hard to put into words.
Sometimes an animal shares something very simple. Sometimes they bring through something deeply meaningful. I’ve learned not to go in with expectations, because they will often surprise you.
I should say plainly: this is my intuitive practice. I don’t claim it can be proven scientifically, and I won’t pretend otherwise. What I can tell you is that it has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and that the animals themselves have been my greatest teachers.
Animal communication never replaces veterinary care. If your animal has a physical or health concern, your vet is the right person for diagnosis and treatment.
Communicating with animals in spirit
This is a part of my work that is very close to my heart. I communicate with animals who have passed into spirit, and I believe the connection we share with them continues.
When an animal has passed, we can be left with so many feelings, and often with questions. Guardians ask me things like: Are they okay now? Were they in pain at the end? Will I see them again? Is there something they’d like me to know?
I can’t promise what will come through, and I would never tell you what you want to hear for the sake of it. I can’t establish medical facts about an animal’s final moments. What I offer is a quiet, respectful space, and I share with you whatever I receive, as honestly and gently as I can.
My heart goes out to you. I’ve been there too.
What happens during a session

A clear photograph of your animal companion is all I need to connect; it doesn’t need to be professional, just one where I can see them. Then two questions you’d like me to explore. Take your time over them. Once we’ve agreed a date, I’ll send you a Zoom link or confirm the arrangements for your telephone session.
I’ll become quiet and connect with your animal, and I’ll share the communication with you as I experience it: the feelings, images and impressions that come through, and whatever arises around your two questions. It’s a conversation between us, and you’re welcome to ask what things mean as we go.
Both Zoom and telephone sessions are recorded so you can listen again whenever you wish. You can return to it in your own time, without having to remember everything from the call.
A little about the session
I keep this simple. An Animal Communication session is £95, and that covers everything below. Because it’s by Zoom or telephone, it doesn’t matter where you are: I work with guardians across the UK, and with animals living and in spirit.
Pet Bereavement Counselling is a separate service with its own fees, and isn’t included in a communication session.
Twenty years of learning from animals
I’ve been working with animals and their guardians since 2006, mostly horses and dogs, though I work with all animals. It began on our smallholding, when I wanted to help my own animals in a more natural way and trained in Animal Aromatics. Later came Canine Flow, and I qualified as a Master Practitioner in 2017.
Everything since has grown out of listening: to what the animals showed me, to what their guardians needed, and to what I was learning about presence, trust and simply being in the moment.
A little more about meTwo separate services. One caring, individual approach.
When an animal has passed, we can be left with questions and feelings that are hard to work through on our own. As well as communicating with animals in spirit, I’m also a qualified Pet Bereavement Counsellor.
Through counselling I offer a separate space, where you can talk about how you’re feeling and find your own way of moving forward. Some guardians find one of these helpful; some, in time, explore both. Neither needs the other, and it’s entirely up to you what feels right.

Pet Bereavement Counselling
Compassionate support after the loss of an animal companion. A complimentary 20-minute call to begin, then one-hour sessions by Zoom or telephone.
Thank you Dawn. Just wanted to say thank you for a lovely communication with my beloved boy Rupert in spirit. You described his energy and personality perfectly. I feel comforted to know what he had to say. Thank you for your compassion, understanding and care.
Questions people ask
If your question isn’t here, just ask. I’m always happy to talk things through first.
It’s my intuitive way of connecting with an animal and being open to what they wish to share. It comes through as feelings, images, thoughts, sensations and impressions, and I pass on what I receive as honestly as I can. It’s a spiritual practice rather than a science, and I’m always clear about that.
Someone with a deep, intuitive bond with animals, who tends to feel how an animal is feeling, physically and emotionally, as if it were their own. It’s how I’ve been for as long as I can remember, and it’s the foundation of my communication work.
Yes. Many guardians come to me simply wanting to understand their animal a little better: how they’re feeling, whether there’s something they’d like understood, how the two of you might build a closer connection.
Yes. I communicate with animals in spirit, and it’s a part of my work I care about very much. I can’t promise what will come through, and I won’t tell you what you want to hear for the sake of it.
Yes. Every session is by Zoom or telephone, so it makes no difference whether you’re in Shropshire, Scotland, London or Cornwall. I work with guardians right across the UK.
No. I connect using a photograph for animals Living or In Spirit.
Yes. I work with all animals, with most of my professional experience being with horses and dogs. Every animal is an individual.
A clear, recent one where I can see their face and eyes. It doesn’t need to be a professional photograph. For an animal in spirit, any photograph you love is fine.
About an hour, by Zoom or telephone. Each session includes two questions you choose beforehand, and we talk as we go, so you’re welcome to ask what things mean as they come through.
Yes. Every session is recorded for you to keep and listen to again whenever you wish.
£95 for a one-hour Zoom or telephone session. That includes the communication itself, your two questions and the recording. There’s nothing extra to pay.
No, never. If your animal has a physical or health concern, please see your vet. A communication can sit alongside veterinary care, but it is not a diagnosis or a treatment.
No. They’re two separate services with separate fees. Animal communication is about hearing from your animal; bereavement counselling is a space for you to talk about your grief. Some guardians explore both over time, but neither requires the other.
Get in touch about Animal Communication
There’s no obligation in getting in touch. A session is £95, by Zoom or telephone, from anywhere in the UK. Tell me who your animal is and what you’d like to ask, and I’ll come back to you with some dates. You can send me the photograph by email once I’ve replied.
With blessings, Dawn
