Animals in spirit · Liverpool

The things you didn’t get to say.

I’m Dawn, an Animal Empath based in Shrewsbury. If you’re in Liverpool or Merseyside and would like to explore a communication with an animal in spirit, I offer one-hour sessions by Zoom or telephone, using a photograph. This is my intuitive practice, and I want to explain it clearly so you can decide whether it feels right for you.

What it is

A communication with an animal who has passed.

When an animal has died, I work exactly as I would with a living animal: you send me a photograph and two questions, and we spend an hour together by Zoom or telephone while I listen and tell you what I receive. Guardians often want to know whether their animal was in pain, whether they understood the decision that was made, whether they knew they were loved. Sometimes there’s something specific that was never said.

I don’t make promises about what will come through, and I won’t dress it up. I can’t establish medical facts about an animal’s final moments. I share the impressions I receive gently and honestly.

Two different doors

This isn’t bereavement counselling, and it isn’t a substitute for it.

A communication is about your animal: what they want you to know. Bereavement counselling is about you: how you carry on. I offer both, separately, and I keep them separate on purpose.

If you’re not sure which you need, a good rule of thumb is this. If the ache is “I need to hear from them”, that’s a communication. If the ache is “I can’t get through the day”, that’s counselling, and it starts with a free twenty-minute call. Some people have one, some people have the other, and some have both, months apart.

Timing

There’s no right moment.

Some guardians get in touch within days; others wait years, until a birthday or an anniversary brings it all back. Neither is better. If you’re very raw, I might gently suggest we talk first, so you know what to expect from the hour. You can always wait, and you can always come back.

Whatever you decide, please don’t feel you have to be “ready” in any particular way. You just need the photograph and the two things you most want to ask.

Fee

The same as for a living animal.

One hour by Zoom or telephone, your photograph, your two questions, and the recording to keep. If you later want counselling, that’s arranged separately and begins with a free call.

Questions

What guardians on Merseyside ask me.

Does it matter how long ago my animal died?

You’re welcome to ask about an animal who passed recently or a long time ago. I work from a photograph, and I don’t promise what will come through.

Do I need a special kind of photograph?

Just a clear one where I can see their face, and ideally their eyes. It can be old, and it can be a photo of a photo.

Will I find it upsetting?

It may bring up strong feelings, and everyone responds differently. You’re welcome to ask me about the session first, and there’s no need to rush into it.

Is this a medium or psychic reading?

I describe myself as an Animal Empath. I listen to animals and share what I hear, honestly and without embellishment. I don’t make claims beyond that.

Can I ask about my animal who is still living, too?

I communicate with animals living and in spirit. If you’d like to ask about more than one animal, please contact me before booking so we can agree the arrangements.

When you’re ready

Tell me who they were.

A name, a photograph, and the thing you most want to ask. That’s where we start.
