Animal Communication · Birmingham
You don’t need to bring your dog to Shrewsbury.
Hello, I’m Dawn. My Animal Communication sessions happen by Zoom or telephone, from a photograph, so if you’re in Birmingham or anywhere across the West Midlands, the M54 can stay out of it. An hour at your kitchen table is all it takes.

From your home
What an online session actually looks like.
People sometimes imagine they need a quiet house, a well-behaved dog and good lighting. They don’t. Here’s the honest shape of it.
A clear picture of your animal, ideally with their eyes visible. A phone photo is fine. This is what I work from, before and during our session.
Two things you most want to know or say. Questions about settling, anxiety, change at home, or simply “is she happy?” are all good ones.
You can be anywhere with a signal: a flat in Moseley, a back garden in Sutton Coldfield, a parked car on your lunch break. Your animal doesn’t need to be with you.
I record the session for you, so you can listen again later without trying to remember everything in the moment.
City animals
Living closely together brings its own questions.
In a city, many guardians share a home with their animals in a more concentrated way: smaller spaces, more noise, more comings and goings, a dog who is alone during the working day or a cat who never goes out. Those things come up in sessions often, and they’re exactly the sort of thing a communication can shed light on, because I’m asking your animal how it feels to them.
What I won’t do is pretend a communication replaces a vet or a behaviourist. If your animal is unwell, see your vet. If you’re working with a trainer, a session can sit alongside that; it isn’t a substitute for it.

Living, or in spirit
The session is the same whether your animal is here or not.
I communicate with animals who are living and with animals who have passed. The process doesn’t change: a photograph, two questions, an hour together. If your reason for getting in touch is a loss, you might also want to know about my Pet Bereavement Counselling, which is a separate service for you rather than for your animal. Plenty of people come to one and never need the other.
Fee
One session, one fee.
There’s no travel cost and nothing extra for being in Birmingham rather than Shrewsbury. I’ll always confirm the fee with you before anything is booked.
Questions
Asked by guardians in the West Midlands.
Do I need my dog or cat in the room during the Zoom or telephone?
No. Many guardians prefer their animal to be elsewhere, so they can listen properly. I work from the photograph you’ve sent me.
What if my internet drops out?
Please let me know if you have connection problems so we can agree what to do. Animal Communication appointments are arranged by Zoom or telephone.
Can I do the session from work?
You can, as long as you can speak freely for an hour. A space where you won’t be interrupted is the only thing I’d ask for.
Do you ever come to Birmingham?
Not for sessions; they’re all online. My in-person work is the Canine Retreats and classes in Shropshire, which is a short drive up the M54 if you ever fancy a day out with your dog.

About Dawn
Who you’d be talking to.
I’m an Animal Empath and Animal Communicator, and I’ve worked professionally with animals and their guardians since 2006. I’m also a qualified Pet Bereavement Counsellor. I live in Shrewsbury with Millie, my Jack Russell, and with Mylo in spirit.
Ask me anything first
If you’re curious, that’s enough to get in touch.
You don’t have to be sure a session is right for you. Send me a note, tell me a little about your animal, and I’ll explain how it would work.
